Philip Pullman Explains It All for You

The author of The Golden Compass talks about trusting readers and letting children think for themselves. Too bad the fundies who would most benefit from this message are the ones least likely to heed it.

Pullman’s talk is fine, but I think Ice Cube stated it most succinctly: “If Ice Cube as a rapper has more influence in your home than you do as a father, you need to start asking yourself some questions.”
