Web Blights

May 19, 2008

Roy Edroso’s tour of wingnut Web sites, published last month in the Village Voice, has become a regular feature. Highlights include Jonah Goldberg’s ringing defense of the petrochemicals industry, and Ross Douthat’s argument that the GOP’s loss of high-roller contributors has transformed it into a real working-class party. I just hope that Edroso heeds Nietzsche’s warning that whoever stares into the abyss too long may find the abyss staring into him.
